What is reputation?

You gain reputation by spending spirit stones. Your level determines the maximum level of buildings you can use. So if you have reputation 2 and are using a building of level 3, the building will act as if it is level 2.

NOTE: This is something I read elsewhere. I can't confirm that it's true. Please post here if you think I got this wrong.
