When summoned a boss can be attacked for 48 hours. When he dies everyone participating and doing a certain level of damage will gain rewards in the in-game mail. You can see the rewards in the game by clicking the boss and clicking rewards at the bottom of the pop-up.
For now hit as much as you can. Later, when we are completing raids easily we may suggest a limit of 200 damage per player as that is the maximum reward tier.
Once defeated a boss cannot be summoned again for 24 hours.
